Jose Enrique makes no secret of his love for Liverpool Football Club on social media.
The former Reds left-back regularly comments on the Premier League leaders through his Instagram account, and he used the platform to express his opinion once again over the course of the weekend.
Jordan Henderson has been one of the most divisive figures at the club since he arrived from Sunderland in 2011, but he has firmly silenced his doubters in the last two campaigns.
A beating heart of energy and dynamism in central midfield, Liverpool were not the same beast during his recent absence through injury, though his return could not prevent them from being dumped out of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid.

Amid his rise in stature, plenty of pundits have weighed in with their thoughts and Jamie Carragher recently delivered his verdict in an article published by The Telegraph.
“I have to say I am delighted but a little baffled that Jordan Henderson is getting more praise this season than in previous years.
“I think that probably says more about those suggesting he has massively improved rather than the player himself because – as I am sure Jurgen Klopp will testify – his consistent excellence as captain has been fundamental to Liverpool’s return to the top.”
In response to those comments, Enrique suggested Carragher was spot on and named Henderson as his player of the season.

The season may not yet have reached its conclusion and doubts persist over when and if it will be concluded.
However, regardless of what happens to the 2019/20 campaign, there is little doubt that Henderson is a stark candidate for the player of the season award.
